SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern

  • Question Type: Objective (MCQ)
  • Duration: 1 Hours
  • Language: English and Hindi
  • Negative Marking: -0.50 for each wrong response

SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern

  • Three papers will be conducted in Tier II (Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III) in separate shifts
  • For all posts, Paper I is compulsory and will be conducted on the same day
  • On the basis of performance in Paper I (Section I and Section II), candidates will be qualified for Paper I Section III (Computer Knowledge and Data Entry Test)
  • Those who applied for the JSO (Junior Statistical Officer) post have to appear for Paper II
  • Paper III is for individuals who applied for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer
  • Duration of Paper I Session 1: 2 Hours 15 Minutes
  • Duration of Paper I Session 2: 15 Minutes Only
  • Duration of Paper II: 2 Hours
  • Duration of Paper III: 2 Hour
  • Negative Marking:
    • 1 Marks Paper I (Section I, Session II & Session III Module I)
    • Paper II and Paper II – 0.50 marks
